In Japan, Yamato, Sagawa, and Japan Post require a fully completed and accurate address to deliver packages.
If the buyer does not provide all required details, the shipment may be returned to the warehouse, which has already happened to several of our customers. When an order is returned and you want to ship it again, please note: The shipping fee will be charged twice, or even three times, depending on the number of re-ship attempts.
To avoid these issues, please follow the guidelines below based on your use case.
When importing via Excel, please ensure the "address fields Line 1 "are filled correctly.
How to fill Japanese address:
- **3-20-20 **= street number (3丁目20番20号)
- Itamimansyon = building name (Itami Mansion)
- 53 = room number
Where to input the information:
Insert ALL of the following into Recipient Address Line 1: 3-20-20 Itamimansyon 53

TikTok requires standard address fields, but it does NOT force buyers to fill in Building Name or Room Number, which leads to many failed deliveries and returns to the sender.
⚠️ To ensure successful delivery:
Buyers MUST fill in while placing orders on TikTok:
- Building Name (マンション・アパート名)
- Room Number (部屋番号)

If your buyer does not provide a detailed address in the order, please complete the following steps after confirming the information with your customer:
- Go to the Order Details page.
- Add the missing building name and room number into the “Detailed Address” field.
- Save and update the billing address

CASE 3: Create Orders Manually on the System
If you prefer to create a sale order manually, please follow the step-by-step guide here:
Don’t forget to Go to “Edit billing address” to make sure the detailed address includes:
- Street number
- Building name
- Room number

If you follow these guidelines, it will greatly reduce delivery failures, avoid unnecessary returns, and ensure a smoother shipping experience for both you and your customers in Japan.
